For the first time at the airport of Tashkent, an opera flash mob was held

The Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, accompanied by a choir under the leadership of Conductor Komolidin Urinbaev, held a flash mob at the Tashkent International Airport. The event became part of the large -scale festival of the opera, which these days are held in different locations of the capital.

On May 23, in the arrival hall of the Tashkent International Airport, an excerpt from the ninth symphony of Beethoven suddenly sounded. Passengers turned around, and from the crowd everyone appeared and appeared people with musical instruments in their hands. When a whole orchestra gathered in the hall, opera voices sounded from the crowd.

“The whole idea of the flash mob was that the musicians and vocalists were dressed in everyday clothes, left different ends of the hall, and it was simply impossible to distinguish from passengers and airport employees. It was very unusual. Passengers who were waiting for their luggage obviously did not expect to see the orchestra and real opera artists in the hall. Therefore, we decided that one such performance was not enough and after four hours we spent the second flash mob, ”the press service of the management company Uzbekistan Airports noted.

In total, 80 musicians and 35 vocalists took part in the action. The orchestra performed excerpts from the ninth symphony of Beethoven, Potyrri “She Cutim Okhanglary”, Andijan Polka and the composition of Botir Zakirov “Umid”. In total, the cultural flash mob covered about 800 passengers who arrived from Moscow, Dubai, Tel Aviv, Giddy and Frankfurt.

It should be noted that the organizer of the opera festival, which takes place from May 8 to 29, performed the Khokimyat of the capitals together with the Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan. The purpose of the festival is to popularize opera art and attract as many spectators as possible to concerts of classical music.
