
The State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, consisting of 86 musicians, held an impressive concert as part of the 26th International Dance and Music Festival in Bangkok.
This event was a historical moment, since in the 25th history of the festival, which has been held since 1999, the orchestra first took part in this prestigious international event.
The concert held in the Thai Cultural Center gathered about 2000 spectators. The concert was attended by officials of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the Department of Applied Arts, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the media and citizens of neighboring countries. The orchestra led by Kamolidin Urinboev, Kamolidin Urinboev, received an enthusiastic response from cultural enthusiasts, which ended with an ongoing wave of applause at the end of their performance.
During the event, the orchestra held a master class for Thailand youth, including young musicians with disabilities, emphasizing their commitment to the development of musical talent in the community. Also, representatives of the orchestra spoke at a cultural event organized for our compatriots at the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok.
As part of the strengthening of the cultural ties that arose during the festival, the chairman and founder of the International Dance and Music Festival in Bangkok Jaspal Singh, Help, organized dinner in honor of the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan. Jaspal Singh convinced the admiration of the orchestra and noted his positive reception.
In honor of the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, a special-album was published, which was also widespread among all participants in the festival.
According to the results of a successful performance, an agreement was reached on ensuring the participation of the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan in future events of the International Festival.
The International Bangkok Festival of Dance and Music was founded in 1999. This is an annual event held under the auspices of the Thai royal family in September and October. The festival has become one of the largest cultural forums in Asia.
This year, outstanding performers from France, Great Britain, the USA, China, Italy, Japan, Israel and Russia took part in the festival, demonstrating the diversity and wealth of global art.
